How do I submit an abstract?
The deadline has passed to submit abstracts. Once you have completed your meeting registration you will receive a link to submit an abstract in your registration confirmation email.
- PLEASE NOTE: Only the first 80 poster abstracts will be accepted due to space restraints.
- Poster Sizes: The poster boards are 4’x8′.
- Please be mindful in bringing posters that are at least 48″ wide or less to ensure 2 posters fitting on the boards.
- JGI posters are typically printed in the ARCH E size which works well with the poster boards we have requested.

How do I have my poster considered for a short talk?
The deadline has passed to submit abstracts. The deadline was extended to Monday, September 9th, and session chairs have deliberated. All short talk speakers have been selected and notified. Please see our updated User Meeting Agenda to view our fantastic lineup!
Is there a poster competition this year?
Yes, there will be a poster competition. Please be sure to be by your posters for Poster Session I as the judges will be walking around during that time to nominate the poster prize winners.
Poster Awards will be announced after the poster pitches before Poster Session II which is there for continued science talk.

Refunds
Please note that the cancellation policy below is as follows:
- 100% Refund upon request prior to 07/30/2024
- 50% Refund upon request prior to 08/31/2024
- No refunds will be permitted after 08/31/2024
